| Other ways
to volunteer involve serving on a committee to help plan events, promote
our mission, and support Habitat projects. We need people to serve lunch
to volunteers on the work site, answer the phone in the office, assemble
our newsletters for bulk mailing, as well as other fun jobs.
We are considering an all-women's built house, possibly
as part of a "Blitz Build" where we'll have two friendly competitions
involving an all-men's build house--building both homes in a two week
period. This project requires many volunteers to plan and implement
it. Let us know if you're interested in helping us with this. For a
